1. Reread lines 1-17 on pg. 38 list 3 details about their society. What is your opinion of their society? My opinion on the society is that everybody was equal and followed the same rules .
2. In what ways are George and Hazel more like robots than humans? Why do you think this is?
They couldn't use there mind they way there were supposed to .
3. How would you describe the government in 2081 according to this story? Provide an example from the text. The government in 2081 was ore strict and had more rules people had to go by .
4. What does it tell you about the world that Harrison lives in if his mother has "average" intelligence and that means she cannot remember anything or think too long about anything?

They don't want no improvement in skills , everybody had to be equal .

Once she met Harrison she disobeyed the rules and didn't follow the government any longer .
6. What does the fact that Harrison is able to influence people tell you about how he is a threat to the government? Harrison changes people lives and he wants everybody to be exactly like him no one could be different from him.
7. Why does the government want everyone to wear handicaps? Therefore nobody would be any powerful than each other i other words be more advanced.
so they want be faster than anybody or accomplish anything better.
